Annoyed to hear on the radio this morning that tickets for the Olympics are to be equally available to punters across the EU. Hang on a second - I'm paying £20/year as a London resident for the privilege of holding the Games.
Then heard some daft politician explaining that unused Olympic family tickets would be available on the day to local schools: Does she not realise that a) it's the school holidays and b) this is mainly to low desirability events (Benin vs Uruguay football anyone?) and designed primarily to avoid empty seats being shown on TV.
What we need is for Londoners to be given a head start on buying the tickets, either by weighting the ballot in their favour or granting early release.

Asbometer
Pleased to see that I can now work out how likely my neighbours are to have an ASBO. So how can I now make use of other government data to enable me to afford to move away from them?
